Hello, I’m

Alpin.

Student. Software builder. Curious about how things work.

I’m a Chinese-Indonesian born in Pulau Pinang in 2007. I’ve been curious about technology for as long as I can remember. When I was 7, my parents gifted me a PC, and that’s where everything started.

My story.

Age 11

It started with Roblox Studio.

My programming journey began at 11 years old in the Roblox Studio ecosystem. Nobody handed me a course. I taught myself, one personal game project at a time, building things, breaking them, and slowly figuring out why they broke.

2022

Going (sort of) professional.

All that self-taught tinkering grew into something real. In 2022 I was given a contributor position at a game development company, and working on live games alongside a proper team sharpened my technical skills far beyond what I could have managed on my own.

Early 2025

SPM done, time to level up.

After finishing my SPM in early 2025, I moved into a part-time contracted developer role at the same company. I kept contributing to their platform until July 2025, right before university began.

Today

Now at Multimedia University.

These days I’m balancing coursework, team projects and tools of my own, like CLiCScrape. Outside of code, I love photography and hiking.

Always building, always learning. If that sounds like someone you’d like to work with, say hi.

Say hi to Oreo!

Projects.

Things I’ve built and shipped.

CLiCScrape

A Chrome extension that walks you through MMU’s enrollment pages step by step, retrieves the class options for the courses you pick from pages you open yourself, and generates timetables that fit around every one of them.

Filter by free days, earliest start, latest end, or open classes only, then compare each plan as a weekly grid. Everything runs in your browser, with no server and no accounts.

MYSverse

I contributed to MYSverse for three years and worked there as a part-time contract game developer. I programmed interactive minigames and core gameplay features for titles including Lebuhraya and Bandaraya, then kept the games healthy after release by monitoring player feedback and community reports and prioritising the most critical bugs for fixes.

Through iterative updates, I improved overall playability and player retention.
